Handy Hint
Many cars use a replaceable fuel filter. Engine power will drop if the filter becomes clogged. Change it around every 50,000km,
Project Idea
Line up five tires side by side and in rows of two. This gives you a total of ten tires. Run through the tire obstacle course as part of your daily workout routine. This also makes a great attraction for kids.

Photos of our workshop’s new look!
May 21st, 2011We have recently had a bit of a spring clean (but it’s winter?) at our tyre service workshop on Taradale road. We repainted the big front sign and have had a general clean up of the place.
The big front sign is highly reflective, and you know what they say about mirrors making a room look bigger. I wonder if it makes a shop look bigger too? Doesn’t matter though, while we are a small workshop this allows us to spend more time looking after you. Tyres shouldn’t be tiresome.

Tyre Table – Project

This one is a piece of cake, you take 2 or 3 old tires and place them one on top of another with a round of different shaped wooden board on the top and paint it. Use it as a night stand or table top stand for a room or guys area (man cave). Probably not suitable for the guest bedroom, but would fit in perfectly in the garage or gaming lounge.

Check the coolant level and make sure you have enough antifreeze. A 50/50 mix of antifreeze to water wll protect the engine to a temperature of -34C. Lets just hope it doesn’t get that cold!
